HYDRAULIC DEEP DRAWING COLUMNED PRESSES

Deep drawing is done to obtain a 3-dimensional deep container from round sheet material. Deep drawing presses are widely used in all areas of the sheet metal forming industry. Hydraulic deep drawing columned presses are used for forming larger sized products than normal deep drawing presses.

Products obtained by deep drawing process are a flat base. In these presses, male and female molds are pressed from top and bottom to convert materials to desired shapes. Mold corners are designed with radius to prevent the sheet from tearing during deep drawing.
