WHAT IS A
HYDRAULIC PRESS?

Hydraulic presses are machines with various hydraulic-machine oils, by the pressure they make to the pistons which are caused by the electric motor, causing various forming processes in the material.

They can be single acting, double acting or open body, closed body.

The pressure in the hydraulic system can be adjusted by a regulated valve. The system pressure is only kept at a level that exceeds the material resistance. In material thickness, type, double press, and wrong mold fastenings, the system applies pressure up to the maximum valve value. It is almost impossible to overload the hydraulic presses.

WORKING PRINCIPLE OF HYDRAULIC PRESSES

With the electric energy, the pumps are rotated and the oil is pressed into the system. The oil is controlled by various directional control valves and pressure regulators, acting on the cylinders, the cylinders move linearly and mechanical energy is generated. The head connected to the rollers moves up and down.

As the amount and pressure of oil delivered to the cylinders can be controlled, the speed and tonnage of the press can be adjusted to the desired values. Due to these properties, hydraulic presses are particularly preferred in deep drawing dies.
